What Drives Me
I grew up in kitchens, learning the craft in my family’s pizza restaurant, and earned my bachelor’s degree before venturing abroad. Somewhere along the way, I had a moment of clarity — realizing the only foreign words I’d ever cared to memorize were those for food. That’s when I knew: food isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am.
When I returned to the States, I enrolled in culinary school in Manhattan to broaden my foundation beyond what I’d learned at home. From there, I worked in kitchens with Michelin stars — and plenty without. What those experiences taught me is simple yet profound: no matter where you work, there is always more to learn.
Over time, I’ve absorbed all of these lessons and experiences, and they have shaped me into the consultant I am today — one with a well-rounded, nuanced perspective and the soul of a true hospitalitarian. Helping others craft meaningful, memorable culinary experiences isn’t just my calling — it’s who I am at my core.
